By creating an account or using PDFPal.ai (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

PDFPal.ai translates PDF documents while preserving their layout. Translation quality depends on the third-party engine you select and is provided on an "as is" basis.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require email verification before you can sign in.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or do not have the right to translate.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell or abuse the Service, or exceed reasonable usage.

You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the translations you generate.

Credits, subscriptions, and billing

• Translation is metered in credits (1 credit = 1 translated page; some premium engines cost more per page).
• Credits and subscriptions are purchased through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices may change; changes apply to future purchases and renewals.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In particular, credits are automatically refunded when a translation job fails.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your documents and their translations. The Service — including its software, design, and content, but excluding your documents — is owned by PDFPal.ai and protected by applicable law.

Third-party engines

Translations are generated by third-party providers. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for the providers' outputs.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFPal.ai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
